Honey:
We use our own Manuka and Kanuka Honey collected from our beehives. Manuka Honey contains (MGO) methylglyoxal which is responsible for the antibacterial antimicrobial and anti inflammatory healing properties. It has been proven to heal burns and skin wounds. Kanuka has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to help heal burns, bruises, and other wounds – in fact, it may be more effective than its better known relative. Studies have shown that it can also be an effective treatment for skin conditions including eczema, rosacea, and acne.
Beeswax:
Beeswax contains Vitamin A, which helps protect skin cells from environmental irritants while helping to regulate skin regeneration. If you suffer from dry skin itchiness, dermatitis or eczema, beeswax helps heal these conditions while at the same time providing itch relief
Olive oil ( extra virgin cold pressed):
Olive oils are high in Oleic acid – . which makes it fantastic for moisturising and restoring the skin. It fights free radicals and reduces inflammation
Shea Butter (organic) shea butter helps skin retain moisture, which makes it soft and smooth. it’s loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, it may also to to soothe the skin and promote healing.
Jojoba oil (organic}
Jojoba is similar in many ways to sebum produced by our own skin which makes it so nourishing, protective and well-tolerated
It penetrates the skin easily and can help to reduce water loss through the skin by forming a protective film.
Jojoba oil is an excellent emollient and moisturiser
Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil can hydrate the skin and help it to retain moisture. It may also help reduce inflammation, promote wound healing, and has antibacterial properties
